That’s all brake fluid on the ground.
Very empty.
Poured out from under the flange.
Welp, not a bad lifespan for a 39-year old cylinder, right?

Still looks brand new, refill & send it.

Not bad! I mean, bad that it failed and puked brake fluid everywhere, of course. But not bad that it lasted longer than either I or (presumably) you have been alive!

It looks embarassed

Whoops
Should be a pretty inexpensive part (then again who knows with old japanese stuff), and a great excuse to fully flush/bleed the brakes!

I have 3 in my garage. Wouldn’t be worth the cost of shipping to the states though.

Get that brake fluid off your painted surfaces!

I t failed while parked at your place? If it’s gotta fail that’s the place to have it happen - that little truck is looking out for you.

My clutch master has a leak in my Nissan, and it takes brake fluid so I feel your pain. I have the new part, but I don't have the necessary motivation to fix it. And it currently won't go into gear...

By which I mean, "Why is that, sir?"

Its extremely corrosive

DOT brake fluid is very corrosive and will strip paint somewhat quickly. You need to neutralize it with brakleen.

Brake fluid will eat basically anything including your paint and your garage floor.

Yeah, not to bad.
